Professor Wang Xinhua was born in January 1960. He started to join the work force in August 1976. In 1984, he obtained an MA degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Shandong University, and his Ph.D in 2008. He was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 1996, and to Professor in 2008. Currently he serves also as a Thesis bet365 online sports betting mobileAdvisor for MA students. In addition to his faculty roles, Professor Wang also serves as an executive director of the Shandong Association of Linguistics,and is a member of both the Chinese Association of Linguistics and the Chinese Phonological Association. Professor Wang’s primary field of research is Chinese language and cultural studies. He offers, for undergraduates and graduate students in the School of Literature at Shandong University, the following courses, among others: “Phonology”; “Shuowenjiezi(Explanation of Texts and Words) and Chinese Culture”; “A Topical Study in Chinese Phonetics” and “Social Linguistics”.
