Professor Li Jianfeng (Han nationality) is a native of Yishuixian, Shandong Province, born in 1970. He ascended to the rank of Professor at Shandong Universityin 2003. He has served, since 2007, as Vice-president of the Chinese Association of Tao YuanmingStudies, and, since 2014, also as Vice-president (and subsequently as Acting General Secretary) of the Association for Classical Literature Studies of Shandong Province.
Professor Li graduated with his Ph.D degree from the School of Literature of Shandong University in 1998, after which he stayed on to work in his alma mater and engaged in undergraduate teaching for 20 years. In 2009, he became a Dissertation Advisor for Ph.D students in the field of ancient (Traditional) Chinese literature. The focus of Professor Li’s academic work and scholarly accomplishments has been in the area of Tao Yuanming studies. The History of the Appreciation of the Works of Tao Yuanming Prior to the Yuan Dynastyis the first dedicated historical study in China on the subject of how the writings of Tao Yuanming had been accepted, read, and understood in Chinese literary circles. Professor Li is also completing The History of the Appreciation of the Works of Tao Yuanmingin the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Together these volumes will form a comprehensive study of the entire history of the appreciation (that is, the acceptance, the reading and understanding) of the writings of Tao Bet365 gamesYuanming through the centuries. Professor Li was the recipient of the Inaugural Prize for The Most Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Shandong University. He has also won a Highest Level of Excellence Prize in the Social Sciences awarded by the Shandong Province Department of Education, and four Third Level of Excellence of Achievement in the Social Sciences Prizes awarded by the Shandong Provincial Federation of Social Sciences. He has successfully applied for undertaking and supervising two major National Planning Research Projects sponsored by the Central government of China; both are already fully completed, with excellent results.
